DuraCeramic is created from a limestone composite. This makes it warmer to the touch than ceramic or other natural stones. The beauty of stone, slate or marble, are reproduced in DuraCeramic so many decorating options are available. DuraCeramic's construction also absorbs sound, which keeps your home quieter. Since it is not as hard as ceramic, items are less likely to shatter if dropped.
Installation of DuraCeramic offers the option of the traditional grout application or installing without grout for a slightly more contempory look. DuraCeramic can be installed in about half the time it takes to install ceramic. Radiant heat is a safe option under a Duraceramic floor.
